Last week, EA confirmed that there will indeed be a Battlefield: Bad Company Beta. This week, we have learned that PS3 owners will be able to download and play the beta starting November 19th. PC fans will have to wait it seems. EA is saying the Beta for the PC is scheduled for sometime in December, and that the Xbox 360 version will soon follow. EA also warned us that their are plenty of scams out there, promising to give you access to the beta if you sign up, or pay a fee. These are bogus sites! So far, the only official way to insure that you will be able to play the beta this holiday season, is to pre-order the game at participating retailers such as Game Stop, and Best Buy.

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta will feature the Arica Harbor map, where up to 24 players can compete in one of the game’s four intense multiplayer modes called Rush. In December 2009, DICE will invite players to participate in a PC open beta.
